Kathy Tosch resides in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and is a retired High School Biology teacher who paints acrylic mixed media paintings. Her work has been influenced by a lifelong love of living near the sea. After teaching students for 25 years about the study of life and man’s connection to the natural world, she began sketching and painting in journals, coastal scenes, birds, trees, flowers, and people.
Kathy is self-taught and has continued to develop her skills as an artist through workshops, online courses, and daily practice in her “Dancing Mermaid Studio”.
Her brightly colored paintings reflect her love of people and the natural world.
