Pottery Classes

Intro II Class – 2 classes $100. This is an introduction to wheel throwing. Includes one finished piece. 2 hr. class.

Basic wheel throwing class – 4 classes $150. This will cover basic techniques of wheel throwing from centering to trimming. Includes bag of clay and 3 finished pieces (mugs, tumblers, and bowls). 2-hour classes.

Intro to Hand Building – 2 classes $100. Basic hand building includes hump molds, pinch, and coil methods. Includes 1 finished piece.

Basic Hand Building – 4 classes $150. Covers hand-building techniques: coil, hump, and slump molds, and pattern methods. Also covers glazing techniques. The class includes 1 bag of clay and 3 finished pieces.

All classes include 1 hour of instruction and 1 hour of coaching.

Classes are offered on Mondays 10-12 PM, Thursdays 10-12 PM and 6-8 PM, and Saturdays 10-12 PM.
