Marjorie J Barnett

Marjorie J Barnett

Marjorie has been in the arts since she was 5 years old. She works in Fire Porcelain, Block and Powder to create her artwork. The Porcelain is fired from 9-13 hours, then hand-painted and fired again. Some of her creations have diamond dust that also has to be fired in. Hands, toothpicks and needles are all you need to create these amazing pieces of artwork along with a Kiln.

The emotions reflected in my work are influenced by nature, fashion, costumes, music, tribal dress, and African Art. Hopefully, the love poured into each.
