Our own J. Michael Dumoulin has had two of his illustrations accepted in the 48th Annual Bi-state (AL & MS) Art Competition at the Meridian, MS, Museum of Art. Both of these multi-media illustrations are the same ones offered for sale on our Galleria web store.
I do know this: the work that I did wasn’t simple idle work. It had purpose for the Center, for me, and for the community.
Local artist member Becca Sargent was recently featured on WXXV-25 where she spoke about the summertime mini-art camps she is providing here at the Gulfport Arts Center. Welcome to our new community artist, Alexandra C Keaton, who will be selling her visionary artwork on our website. Alexandra studied at the College of Creative Studies, Detroit, MI. As an illustrator and graphic designer, Alexandra has provided artwork for people and businesses, as well as children’s books and covers. She also uses her skills to teach art classes for inspiring artists of all ages.
